Comcast Cable Boxes ever getting PIP back?

Comcast discontinued Picture-In-Picture a few years ago after we got the new guide, and as a sports fan I was very unhappy. I emailed a rep at Comcast, and they told me back in 2011 that PIP may be reinstated in 2013. Anyone have any news on this, or do you think they just told me a bunch of BS that night.

reasonable prices weren't popular either, so the wont be back. "popularity" is the excuse they use for anything they dont feel like doing .

I agree with you as the more features the better but I have always been in a Motorola area which never had PiP and I doubt it will ever return. Today people are more interested in the two screen (TV & Phone/Tablet) experience (for now) and that is what Comcast is working on, albeit slow and forever. Some TV's can still do it but usually only OTA or RGB inputs.
