 | [DSL] Bridlewood DSL offering I hear about great HS in Bridlewood south of Stonehaven, but what about north of Stonehaven? I live in K2M1V7, best I'm able to get is a 6M package, currently giving me 3.5M. I have seen other posts where people are able to get FTTN, does anyone know where or when we will be getting better HS north or Stonehaven? |

| I'm in the old part of Bridlewood near the Superstore and have excellent speeds on DSL. I'm surprised your area wasn't upgraded like us a couple of years ago. How far are you from Stonehaven? There are several remotes on the north side of Stonehaven between Eagleson and Grassy Plains.

 | If those options arent good for you, go with Cable. You get 6, 18, and 28 mbs options. |

 | Ya my father lives at Stoneheaven and bridlewood, and only can get 6Mb. I asked Bell once and they said the remote DSLAM's HSA lines are full. To many people adopted HSA for the equipment installed.
Guess all the high tech people in the area adopt and use high speed, and Bell wasn't prepared for it. |

 | I'm probably less than a km from Stonehaven, on Filion. I didn't want to go the cable route as it doesn't give me any more upload speed, which I wanted to get better VOIP and downloading at the same time. Guess I'll have to wait until they upgrade the hardware |

Yup, I'm in high tech and loving my 25/10 connection because I'm on the remote at Milner Downs and Bridgestone. There's a lot of other high tech people I know in the area. |
|
 | I've even checked out other address(yoho, springwater, speers), all come back as only offering 5M service from Bell, so no faster from anyone else either |
|
 | Ya Kanata especially bridlewood has always been known to get saturated with highspeed consumers. It's a high population of high tech employees, and people with knowledge and skills to utilize those connections more heavy then normal users.
It s financially well off community. And all the Tekie's are very willing to purchase the latest tech, so doesn't surprise me Bell would struggle to keep the infrastructure expanded to handle them all. lucky for rCable service bridlewood is directly next to the Fallowfield POI. and 8/4 bonding should be in Bridlewood. My fathers TSI rCable is running 8/4 and has excellent speedboost on it. I've seen it boost up to 76mbps on his 14mbps docsis 3. |
|
 | I'm new to the Cable terminology, what is rCable (rogers??), and what is 8/4 bonding? |

That's right there are a few remotes on Bridgestone as well as the east side of Eagleson south of Stonehaven. Much more work is starting shortly to prepare for Fibe TV. |

said by mrmarkfr:, and what is 8/4 bonding? and what is 8/4 bonding? 8/4 is the amount of Channels used on the cable modem to sync. -- TSI Martin (Escalations / E-Services) - TekSavvy Solutions Inc.
