Upgrading digital receiver to DVR

I am looking for any experiences people have with going to there local WOW office and bringing their digital receiver in and switching it out for a DVR. I want to prevent a truck roll, having to wait for a tech, incurring a truck roll fee, etc.

Can I actually do this? I can setup the DVR myself. Will I need to contact WOW after I install the box?

Thanks for any input. I am in the Columbus, Ohio area.

This can be done at your local office, and they will be able to upgrade your account while you're there so you can just take it home and plug it in. If you use the cable already there for your digital box, it should only take a few minutes to get it up and running.
