[TV] Cable boxes remotely rebooted very frequently

For the past month or so, our cable boxes/DVR have been remotely rebooted VERY frequently in the late night/early morning. There was a week or two where it was literally every day.

Over the past few weeks it hasn't been that bad but still WAY more then 'normal'. I have 1 Cisco WH-DVR and 2 Cisco WH-STB's. Last night/this morning the 2 STB's were rebooted twice, and the DVR once. 1 STB and the DVR are on a UPS, so I know it's not a power issue.

Has there been a ton of updates or maintenance going on, or is something else up? Typically this wouldn't be an issue, but my daughter sleeps with the TV on for noise and when the box reboots there is no noise and she wakes up and then comes and wakes us up, which gets old, real fast.

No updates however your boxes will reboot twice per week during latenight (2am ish). If anything falls out of that area (recently) hit me up in direct with the usual info and I'll take a quick look for you.

Mine too. We noticed during the past couple of weeks particularly that several times we'd turn on the TV the next day and it would be on channel 1, even though we have it set to stay on the last channel and it normally does. I've been associating this with some type of reboot overnight but maybe I'm wrong. I thought perhaps there were some upgrades going on but maybe not. I'll post my IP in private so you can check it out when you get a chance.

Thanks!

I have got to tell you this is one of the most frustrating snd huge complaints I have with brighthouse. I am so frustrated that every couple nights when I'm watching TV my box has to reset itself for no apparent reason. I'm sorry I am not home during normal times but I shouldn't be penalized for wanting to watch TV late at night with these constant random resets...I always turn off the box when im done using it...why can't the box reset itself when it's powered off instead instead of when I'm watching TV?? Ether that or an option to delay the reboot ... Kind of like how windows updates works... Is extremely frustrating to me there's no other way...
