Did you look here - many cheap hardware routers with firewalls can handle your throughput

I also have a PFSense box based upon an old Intel P4 @ 3GHz, 2GB RAM, 20GB HDD and 3 Intel Pro1000 NICs (2 WAN + 1 LAN). It barely makes the CPU meter come up off 0-1% when I download something at 100Mb/s. I think I hit 12% CPU utilization when I tested 140Mb/s on 2 connections.

Juniper SSG5. Handles 100Mbp/sec with firewall, VPNs, deep packet inspection, policies, telnet or GUI, 5 LAN ports, etc.
Doesn't breathe hard with Comcast high speed services. Pretty much a steal since it is EOL. |

Sophos UTM 9 (formerly Astaro Security Gateway) running in a VM on ESXi 5.1. Throughput is limited to the NIC's attached.
I have full web filtering, anti virus, firewalling, etc running. |

ZyXel USG50.
Its only good for about 100mbps firewalled throughput (full UTM throughput substantially less), but it offers a lot of bang for the buck and is probably my most treasured piece of hardware!

With my own testing, I've found that my Netgear WNDR-3700 v2 router tops out at about 150 Mbps when running DD-WRT, and 500-550 Mbps when running stock firmware (I think it might be OpenWRT based). SPI firewall, NAT, and port forwarding are all in use.
