Topeka, KS | [KS] Upgraded to Premier Today. Seeing Lower Speeds(Topeka KS) I upgraded to Premier today. I was told the upgrade would go into effect in 30 minutes. I had appointments, and didn't check the speeds till tonight. Spoke with someone from Cox that told me to reboot the Cable Modem(I had already done so)
This did nothing for me.
My Modem is the Internet/Telephony Arris

You should be able to get them to upgrade your modem for free since you have telephone with them. They usually use a Cisco DPQ3212 D3 modem. It is a 8x4 modem. |

Topeka, KS | I picked up a Cisco DPQ3212 this morning as a matter of fact. For a while, I had 5 down, 20 up, but after a few minutes things straightened out. Phone is not working. Have to find the cell phone and call cox to straighten that out I guess.

Did a tech come out for the install? Might work for the data end, but I believe some voodoo needs to happen for the phone. I have that same modem and the only downside to it is the inablity to view logs like the Motorolas have. |
