| Has Anyone Dual Booted Windows 7 on a New Windows 8 Machine I have a new Sony Vaio Touchscreen laptop and am just wondering if anyone has successfully dual booted Windows 7 on a native Windows 8 UEFI computer and if so, how did you go about doing it?
I see a lot of instructions on how to dual boot when Windows 7 is the native OS and have done that successfully on my old laptop.
I am concerned that I will not be able to reinstall my Windows 8 system image (Acronis) on my new computer if I mess things up. I don't know what will happen with Windows 8 activation if I have to use the system image to restore the new computer if I need to (p.s. I have a newly purchased OEM version of Windows 7).
