Re: [KY] Good speeds bad game/video playback One device, my computer (teathering done by wifi and USB an equal number of times). With auto HD for Chrome so 720p every time (it automatically enters large video mode and sets it to the desired (in my case 720) resolution.
Test done by doing wired connection for mediacom then disabling ethernet, turning on tethering and refreshing the page. Then disabling tethering and enabling the wired connection. Rise and repeated 5 times for each connection done on several videos. So ~35 tries on each connection. Speeds were fairly consistent for both.
The slowdowns happen almost daily from ~6pm-~10pm. At these times Steam, torrents of Ubuntu and speedtest can max the connection.
