Thank you Andre, and thank you TekSavvy, for taking the time to read my post here and to call me directly to address the issue.
I was a Videotron customer (slave?) for 10 years before joining TekSavvy, and I never received service like that. Life is good A77, you may not know the context unless you've been on the boards for a while, but I would just like to say that you handled this perfectly. No screaming, no boastful demands, no threats, no crazed sense of entitlement. You knew TSI had made an error, you pointed it out, politely stuck with it, and got satisfaction. Everyone wins.
From now on, whenever we are accused of being unduly mean to posters who carry on like spoiled children, spewing insults and rage, I'm going to link to this post as an example of how to behave like an adult and get the result you deserve.
Welcome to TekSavvy Cable! |

Seriously though, at the risk of sounding like a total fanboy, I've been blown away by TekSavvy's service since I dumped Videotron two years ago, and the support from TSI Andre and the customer service guy I spoke to this morning (Rob?) was so above and beyond what I had come to accept as the norm from big Canadian telecoms who take their customers for granted.
I've gotten better-than-advertised speeds with my cable and DSL. And what's more, the people I've dealt with at TekSavvy seem genuinely good and decent. Keep it up, TSI. Your customers appreciate it |
