| [TWC] Huge lag/ping spikes The about the past month or so, there are random times throughout the day where my pings simply skyrocket. For example, a ping to Google would be 15ms, but would then be in the 600-1000ms range. This happens to every other website as well. I can ping a device on my local network, and it'll be low like normal. A reset of the modem, not my router, seems to fix things for a while, but it will eventually happen again.
Is it my modem? I'm tempted to get a replacement from the local Time Warner Cable office, but just want to make sure. I have confidence that it is the modem, however. |
