LibraPremium join:2003-08-06 USA kudos:1 | Bluescreen View question The last time I used Bluescreen View the items in the bottom pane changed to alphabetical - I don't know what I clicked on to make this change. Bluescreen view says this:
"For each crash displayed in the upper pane, you can view the details of the device drivers loaded during the crash in the lower pane. BlueScreenView also mark the drivers that their addresses found in the crash stack, so you can easily locate the suspected drivers that possibly caused the crash. "
Is there a ways to have the drivers mostly involved show in the bottom pane? I know I inadvertently changed it and don't know how to get it back.
Thank you.

davePremium,MVM join:2000-05-04 not in ohio kudos:7 | reply to Libra It's normal Windows stuff that if you click on a column header, th display will be sorted by that column. The little triangle on the header shows (a) which column is determining display order, and (b) whether the order is ascending or descending. Clicking again reverses the order.
There's no such concept as "drivers mostly involved" in the OS. There either is or is not a return address corresponding to the driver in the stack. (No criticism intended). SO... I would guess that sorting on "address in stack" will put drivers with addresses-in-stack at the bottom or top of the display (depending on which way the sort is going).
But then again, I have never used Blue Screen View, I just looked at the picture here: »www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
EDIT: norwegian sounds like he has a better handle on the problem. |

LibraPremium join:2003-08-06 USA kudos:1 | reply to norwegian I checked. To the right of Lower Pane is a dot in "All Drivers". Underneath, there is a checkmark in "Mark Drivers Found in Stack". Is that good?
When I first looked at the results, the drivers on the bottom pane were not in alphabetical order. I was having a difficult time taking a screenshot and I think/thought I changed the order of the dlls by clicking around to get the rectangular screenshot.
Thanks Norwegian.
Dave, no insult taken.
