360 requires you pay a subscription to play games online. The same games on PS3 does not. How do you explain that, according to your logic?

not the same thing
look at game like Mass Effect 3
if your not on line it turns off any DLC you have blocking you from loading any saves using that DLC

it does this on all the 3 platforms

In exchange, PS3 game publishers seemingly created DLC with 'activation' codes to counter the fact that used game markets thrive on the PS3 more than the 360 because online play doesn't cost anything.
