First, yes, I am using dd-wrt with an HE tunnel, successfully. Second, I had to find a particular release of dd-wrt that both works with my wireless router and supports IPv6. Some later versions of dd-wrt had had IPv6 support removed in order to provide other features that were of no interest to me. So, it was not easy to find a "good" combination and, once I found it, I have left it that way with no further upgrades. It's probably approaching two years, now.
That said, I have no idea whether that is your problem or not.
