Thanks Max. Should we be checking the FCC ID Numbers on the products of these companies that are claiming to be in compliance with the new rules?

The new standards are very exacting . The challenge will be for manufacturers to meet all the new standards and still put out an amplifier with enough power to be useful . Don't worry every manufacturer is working on new products , some are further ahead than others . Going to be interesting times in the cellular amplifier world.
This is something that has been in the works for 3 years as there is a lot of crap out there that screws up the networks and harms other users.

Nobody as of right now that I know of.

So I've done some homework on the new FCC ruling and, unless I'm reading it wrong, it basically outlaws (that term is a little strong but not by that much) all the amplifiers we've ever purchased and will start laying out fines on March 1, 2014.

The ruling from last February originally read "… absent your providers permission you may not continue using your booster". Now it reads that it is up to the FCC or the carrier to alert you to turn off your booster, but the spirit of the ruling is the same.

There is some effort to put lipstick on this pig, but other than some company called "Smooth Talker" (I'm not making that name up!) nobody is even claiming to have an amp that complies with the new FCC ruling.

I noticed that Millenicom took down their offering for the Sleek. What is available in the marketplace that legitimately meets the needs of users who require a reliable connection?
