[Signals] What is this?

In the pic, the bottom equipment was replaced yesterday. Comcast had been out here numerous times working in the old one which was a third of the size of the new one. Is it some kind of Amp/AGC unit? It didn't help my high DS pwr levels as I still need the 6Db forward path attenuator I was hoping I didn't need anymore. The only good thing is the signals are steady instead of the drastic swings with the outdoor temp changes.
Sorry the pic is sideways, it's vertical on the computer and on my iPhone, not sure why it comes up horizontal.

It is a power supply. It wont change your signal levels. Just keep the system running

I can't answer your question about the equipment, but I can answer your question about the image. Most modern digital cameras (including the built-in cameras in cell phones) have a "tilt" switch that can sense whether the camera is in a "portrait" or "landscape" position. Some PC image viewers are capable of reading this information from the information that is imbedded in the image, but some (like the dslreports slide show viewer) can't read that information and will default to "landscape" mode. The trick when uploading a "portrait" mode image to this site is to explicitly resave the image in "portrait" mode (as I did below).

Thank you NetFixer! I didn't know that. Always learning.
