Altamonte Springs, FL | [TV] Is SpeedTV(32) analog really being dumped in May? I was reading on HD's channel lineup thread that the SpeedTV(32)analog channel is being dropped in May. Is this for sure. I don't recall seeing the notice. One of my favorite(non-box) channels. 
with the World Center of Racing within this market, you would think that would be a consideration.
If it's true I'll be emailing CS to request it stays up.....for what it's worth. |

Saint Petersburg, FL | Speed is going away entirely in August. FOX is rebranding the channel as FOX Sports 1. It'll be a direct competitor of ESPN. Some of the programming from Speed will remain, but other sports will be on the network as well, like soccer, since FOX Soccer will also be terminated. |

Altamonte Springs, FL | Hey Dan, thanks. Yep, I'm aware of the FS1 rebranding and hopefully my favorites will be on it. Don't know if that new FS1 channel will be on the analog band with BH or not, or have to get boxes to watch it. (Probably the latter)
$9.00 monthly per box adds up when you want 2-3 SpeedTV options for viewing.

Altamonte Springs, FL | I could live with the $1 box, Speed included, but I haven't seen anything on those as of now. I'd prefer all QAM if possible since all my TV's have that. I'm meesing around with some sites that stream the Speed channel, but they are iffy at best.
QAM conversion would be excellent  |
