| Does Rogers allow ownership transfer of Internet accounts? I am leaving Rogers at one of my residences because the upload speeds are unbearable. I have a Motorola SB6120 (4x4) activated on the service.
It was added as an SMCD3GN (also 4x4) since they don't officially support Motorola's unless you have TPIA.
I know Rogers let's you waive the modem rental fee if you own your modem (I am doing this).
If transfer of ownership for the account is possible, I am selling the SB6120 for $100, if it is not possible then for $80. |

| It was a chore to get it added, so if it was being sold to another Rogers customer I would ask a little more. The 6120 is a bridge modem and Rogers doesn't sell bridge modems.
But thanks for letting me know, I will put up a listing up just for regular TPIA customers. -- Fiber Optics are the future of high-speed internet access. Stop by the BBR »Fiber Optic Forum. |

I think once its in the system as a third party purchased modem, it stays there and can be added to any account no problem. I did that with a SB5101, it was added as a third party purchased and then sold on ebay when I upgraded and that guy used it on rogers again. |
