kudos:1 | Suddenly No Service I have lived @ same address in 28625 for 17 years. This is an area on the upper edge of town, near an interstate. While I am not as cell phone savvy as others, I do know others had great cell phone service here. (I don't use a cell phone much, but in my limited usage, everything was fine for me.) There has been many a cell phone through this house, and not onc complaint about signal strength.
About three weeks ago, cell coverage died and nobody here can get any service. From newer iPhones, my cheapie Samsung Trac Phone, or even old phones-nobody can get a signal unless you stand out in the yard. And even then, that is barely getting a single.
Ideas? Is this something I have any control over? This isn't the boonies, and is a relatively popular area that had good service for years? My friend called At&t and got the expected "everything is fine" response. |
