[MAINTENANCE] April 9th to April 11th Nights

Hello All,

We will be performing maintenance on our Network during the following time frames.

April 9th 2013 from 1AM to 6AM
April 10th 2013 from 1AM to 6AM
April 11th 2013 from 1AM to 6AM

Customer may experience interruptions of service during the windows.
After the times shown above you will be able to use the Internet as normal.
If your service does not come back on on it's own outside these windows, please turn off your modem for 3 minutes.
If you continue to experience issues, please feel free to reach us at 877-779-1575.

cable or dsl and what areas per each of those times ( ALL? what are you doing installing that's takes upwards of 15hrs on three separate 5hrs of a day )

While the service disruptions are usually minor, it still begs the question: why can't they do one BIG upgrade that clears the way for future capacity needs (ex.: replace 480s chassis by 1440s) and be done with maintenance for the foreseeable future (aside from plugging in extra line cards and SFP/SFP+ as they become necessary but this 'maintenance' is hot-swap so no downtime should be expected) instead of having it nearly every week?

In principle, migrating links to a new chassis is the only thing that should disrupt service for any significant amount of time... but even that can be mitigated almost completely away with equipment that supports modern forms of SMLT.

Of course, incumbents refusing to provide LACP/LAG on their TPIA interface makes this more complicated and less efficient than it could/should be.

In the email that was sent out on the 5th, it said 8th-11th from 1am-6am, so are the dates in the email correct or the dates above?
