I recently discovered that my computer has not been able to connect to Xbox Music (my computer uses Windows 8). Microsoft has a support page regarding this problem, and it states:
"Xbox Music allows you to listen to music when you travel for up to two weeks. After two weeks, the region listed in your Xbox LIVE account must match the region of your current Internet connection (or IP address). We require these to be in alignment so that only music in that supported region is played."
I contacted Microsoft Support to inquire about this problem, and the person I spoke with said my IP address does not contain a region ID, which might be responsible for this issue. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how can it be fixed?
