zaxcom join:2008-12-26 Charlotte, NC | Gmail thinks voicemail emails are spam In the last couple of weeks every email that I get from Viatalk with a voicemail notification goes into Gmails spam filter. I keep missing messages because I dont look at the spam folder. This has never happened in all the years I have used VT. It looks like they changed the wording of the email and for some reason it triggers Gmail to treat it as spam.
Does anyone else see this issue?

| I'm not, only because I don't send Email notifications through Gmail. It seems to me that Gmail should learn that the messages are OK when you tell it they are not spam.
Gmail has instructions for false positive spam indications here. |

 | reply to zaxcom 1) As [unknvoip] said.
2) Also, if you do see valid messages in your spam folder, just click to say [NOT SPAM] and Google learns that way, too.
3) I can tell you from experience with GMail and elsewhere, you MUST check your "spam/junk" folders! It is dangerous not to. You could miss a message from your boss, or an old girlfriend, or your mortgage company. (Thus missing 3 separate opportunities to get screwed).
4) That GMail hides that folder is a very bad thing. |

 | You can change it to only "show if unread" or always "show". |
