Tilghman, MD | [Wi-Fi] Wi fi 20mb wired is 55. What am i missing Any thoughts on why i can only get half speed on wi fi. Tried all combos of security and channel. . Technicolor modem/router. Sometimes speed on wi fi drops to 2meg. Should i ask for a new modem/ router? Best results forcing to ch 6 . Underlying speed when using ethernet cable is full speed. Same results on 4 different devices |

Wireless gateways are notorious for poor performing WiFi. Get a wireless router and put the modem in bridge mode. |
