wait till he posts another flyer, letter, solicitation or whatever next year trumpeting how good this deal is and would save him 150 ish...

it's like that other member here who jumps every several months or so between Comcast and AT&T since he dislikes both for either the price [Comcast] or the speeds [AT&T].

50/10 is their highest speed package... I pay $29.99 for that speed on Comcast.

ISPs all over the country vary rates by how much competition they have in a given area. Most even flag accounts as in competitive areas in their systems so the reps know to give you better a better deal to retain your business.

If you can get a better deal for your needs go for it.

That may be true. For me however there is no competition at my home. There's Verizon DSL but with the lack of speed they offer I doubt very much Comcast even cares about them.
