Verizon DSL → [modem/router] DSL modem w/o a router to replace Actiontec GT784

Verizon recommended Ethernet modems like Westell 515, 516 or Westell 2110, 2200, 6100. Are those good? The line is configured RFC-1483 DHCP.

My main problem with the Actiontec GT784WNV is the lack of instruction manual. I have several of my own routers. I really just want a DSL modem with no router and no Wi-fi. I know the Actiontec GT784WNV can work as a bridge by basically turning off Wi-fi. But again, I don't like using hardware without a manual.

westell 6100g is a good modem, i have one, and it works good.
