did you watch the skit and think about what you were typing or did you just fart on the keyboard and hit enter?

Watched part of the skit, then remembered why I don't watch ether of them.

How long till Fallon gets fired? He's like an LRF group terribad.

Conan worked in that time slot, Leno is good for the time slot he's at.
Fallon nope.

Did you think about how I'm not typing # but £, because # is also called pound and £ is the symbol for the British pound?

last night was a rough night in the Immer household. Kids' illness took priority. Hopefully they sleep better tonight.

Ya its best to do LFR on Tuesdays, more of the hardcore do it then to get it done so the Tuesday runs are better.

I has 1 wipe on boss #2 and one on boss #3, it was far from perfect but it wasn't terribad.

i had a great group get through SoO Part 2 early Saturday Morning. We as a group called out chuckleheads and when they kept up the antics we VTK'd them rather quickly. We ended up 1 shotting Galakras, 2 shotting mechanical boss, and 2 shotting the Dark Shaman. Even the 3 shot on Gen. Green Face went smoothly (new tank to the group refused to taunt until I was at like 9 stacks for some reason).

And why all the hate on Fallon? I think hes got some funny bits, but more than anything its all based on the writing staff for his show. he's only responsible for the delivery. You obviously didn't see his "Robert Pattinson is "Bothered"" skit.

And why all the hate on Justin Timberlake as an actor? I think its great that he's willing to take a role that are a complete joke; i.e. "Bad Teacher". He was great in "In Time".

You know, sometimes I underestimate how very important PnE has become for us. We've brought together some really awesome individuals who could raid or level alts elsewhere, but for various reasons they just really like our guild's atmosphere.

I've been swamped IRL and from time to time a man's gotta take a break to catch his breath. This weekend was such a weekend. The Immer clan is finally recovering from one heck-of-a cold bug, and getting a lot of our business back under control. Our time is precious, but our online time is also important to us. So, I guess in a way I'm apologizing for being MIA on non-raid nights. It's been rough. I'm asking for a little more patience.

My grandfather went into intensive care this weekend... and it doesn't look good. So, while I plan on raiding this weekend... there is a chance those plans might change as I may have to take the family down to Florida soon. Online college sucks, and my day job is directly affected by congressional childishness (both sides).

on a positive note, I'm only 2 runestones away from catching up on my legendary cloak progression (yeah, trials and whatnot, but at least I'll be past the RNG part). My wife got some gear in LFR and flex and she's enjoying playing again, so that should help with raid nights.

Yay the new CPU I ordered should arrive today (its a 6 core with HT, and higher QPI speed) should be a nice swap in upgrade.

so from 4 core with HT and QPI of 4.8GT/s to 6 core with HT and QPI of 6.4GT/s

Aren't the quad cores higher GHz core? Might be better as far as gaming goes.

i7-990X? I've been on a 980X for 3 years, it's been a good CPU.

Either way, it's plenty fast, plus any overclocking would quickly make up the difference. At least with WoW, it'll have a little bit of an added benefit from the increased L3 cache size.

I'm using the Intel® Core%u2122 i7-4700MQ Mobile Processor (4x 2.4GHz/6MB L3 Cache)) and it seems lightning fast compared to the one I was on 2.10 GHz AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-80 Dual-Core Mobile Processor on a 2008 HP dv5 Pavillion lol.

Why? Just why?

Remember our conversation about paying a premium for the newest, fastest gear?

Look at the value ratio of cost/benchmark of the X5660 (link below)

OC your i7 930, you can get to 4ghz on air - it's an incredible CPU.

How many programs do you think utilize more than 2 of the X5660's 6 cores?

Yikes.

I got a very good price on it, much less than I paid for my 930
