Re: PnE

You guys are lucky. I (stupidly) bought a micro ATX machine from a store which said it was good for gaming back in 2009:

As you can see it's tiny, so tiny infact that you can't actually fit much inside it. I've managed to up the RAM to 4GB (mine only came with 3GB) and stuck in a low profile graphics card, but it's pushing it's 220w PSU to the max and makes a hell of a racket at times.

Currently saving to build myself a more powerful machine, but I'd love even half of the power you guys have!

Yes. This. ^^

I'm going to miss raiding with you guys this weekend. Wish you the best of luck though and will be eager to get back at it next week. I was lucky with loot drops in Flex earlier this week on Des and the three items I planned to roll for dropped for me instead (unbelievable luck). So now I can save those rolls for the trink off Immer. I'm eager to put the gear to use!

I'm looking forward to doing some raiding tonight. My focus tonight is just to get together and kill some stuff together. I'd like to do flex1 and the final 3 bosses in ToT normal (for runestones and some gear for a couple raiders). My family will be participating in the Color Run tomorrow morning, so I can't make it a super late night. =)

Man yesterday was the worst.
didn't leave work till 1:30am
then when I got home and settled down to eat some chicken before hopping in wow the outlet my computer gear is plugged into fried and the breaker tripped. (I think the outlet is a back stab outlet, ask in the home improvement forum how bad those are)

so I didn't even get to burn my cloth CD yesterday.
and my arms and legs are sore and my back was hurting (had to move about 6 UPS's (5x 2200 and 1x 6000) plus a c3000 blade center

and still have more to do so I had to come in today too (atleast now my work computer is connected again) but because UPS (the carrier this time) failed to deliver some boxes from monoprice of 240 cat 5e cables I had to drive to the sort facility to pick them up this morning. And we still have 2 more 2200's to install in the racks and to re-install one of the 2 6000's

Geez dark, sorry to hear all that buddy. What is a "back stab" outlet? I've never heard of that before. Oh well at least the breaker tripped and you didn't wind up with a fire.

ok finally got a chance to sit down for a bit
a back stab outlet basically allows someone to just push a wire into the back, without tightening screws or stripping the wire, they use a spring and some other parts to seize into the wire.

over time the spring goes to crap and eventually makes poor contact and starts arcing then it can start a fire.

ya I'm glad we got a nice square D breaker panel I think last year. BTW this is the 4th back stab outlet in my room that has done this, after the 2nd one I knew I needed to swap them all but just hadn't yet.

Also a back stab you have to cut the wire because you'll never pull it out.

Back stab outlets are cheap and easy, just like a girl you don't want cheap and easy those two qualities together tend to lead to pear shaped days.

more goes into a girl getting pear shaped than that... this may have some correlation to your dating history. Remember dating is a choice, both yours and hers. Just because she makes your cut does not mean you will make hers. Be nice.
