[CenturyTel] Modem selection

I'm moving to Colorado Springs, have no choice the only provider for internet in my area is CL (not including Satellite). I've never been impressed with any DSL service, but no choice.

I don't mind purchsing my own modem, like some advice on the best one to consider based on others experiance.

I went to CL's page for modems
»qwest.centurylink.com/in ··· e-q.html

Looking for the "latest" technology and what will work best given typical DSL issues. No need for wireless out of the modem, I'll run all my own systems after the modem. Since I don't have much recent experiance with DSL would appricaite inputs. It appears the Actiontec C2000A is the most compatible to the different DSL technologies. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply on the Modem toby. I did find out from tech support that the connection type is VDSL2 up to 12 Mbps and pair bonding up to 20 Mbps. So I assume I need to look for a modem that can handle both and support those speeds.

That appears to be the best option on that list.
