Few days ago I received noticed from Windows about some corruption that it needs to restart and automatic scan itself. No issues came out of it after it scan itself. Just an hour or so ago I noticed I can't open up the clock from bottom right of the taskbar. When I check control panel seems to be missing icon?
How do I fix/restore my missing adjustable date/time.
P.S. I used sfc /scannow on the system
Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.
Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not supported in offline servicing scenarios.
After waiting for sometime without any response I decided to check Change PC Settings. I can't even access it, it ask me to Refresh. I can't even choose Reset at all. Since it looks that broken until I can't even see option to reset, after backup files into different partition. I did quick format and reinstall.
Had a bit of issue with system can't activate my key maybe because previously I did free upgrade to with Media Center on my key, but I got backup of the activation from before that upgrade I just use it. Then I try add features with the key I used to upgrade the system previously on it, it activates properly. Weird. Anyway its resolved.
