Note this was written for Uverse, but may also affect regular dsl as well.
Customers using Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 may not be able to access the New Mail interface in webmail. This only affects users attempting to access the New Mail interface within webmail.
All other interfaces (Classic and All New AT&T Mail is not affected)
"Ooops. att.net mail can't load"
"Loading att.net Mail failed due to a client side error"
The estimated time on the fix release is 4/22 by end of day.
Workarounds for the issue.
1.)Customers will have the option to switch to att.net Mail Classic.
2.) alternate browsers- Firefox, Chrome, or opera (I provided a link to filehippo- »www.filehippo.com/software/inter···rowsers/
), where you can download alternate browsers for the time being.
Browsers that may not work on that page:
-netscape 126.96.36.199- browser hasn't been updated since 02/2008 compatibility would be questionable at best
-Avant browser 2013 build 23- Is based on IE, avant only adds features to IE.
-Internet explorer 10.0- Self explanatory as it is referenced above
Possible other workaround but not tested/confirmed
3.) compatibility mode- if someone wishes and can confirm that compatibility mode is a valid work around for the issue reply to this post please.--
