What are my options for Bridge Mode?
I've got one of the newer firmwares and I've tried everything I could but I could not flash the custom firmware (it just refreshes after uploading the file and doesn't do anything) or enable the bridge mode from root.
I've asked the Telus tech for an ALU but he has none. I would really like to use my own router since I am having issues with using my router as an AP.
You can either try to track down an ALU or you can possibly purchase your own modem, I know Teksavvy has the Zyxel 1432 VSG which is an all in one but can be put into bridge mode as it has the stock vendor firmware.. This is the same modem which Telus is using but without the crippled firmware from Telus.

Good luck getting an ALU. It's really too bad that Telus will not offer a modem-only configuration. If you search for posts from starbuck, he has tried several alternative modems and found a few that work.
