[LA] Tiers and pricing

Why do prices differ in different parts of the country for the same speed? Also, some people pay less for higher speeds, or the other way around.

2 main factors are competition and cost of living in that state. same applies to food, gas and housing

Jeff,

Since we don't have any "real" competition in the NOLA market, we will always pay equal or more for equivalent bandwidth in other markets. I've accepted this as a reality for the foreseeable future. The thing that bothers me is the fact that COX increases our prices before we receive the speed upgrade.

I can't stand AT&T but I just moved out of NOLA and was quite happy with UVerse in my Metairie home. Hated Cox in NOLA. UVerse has been expanding in NOLA
