So far all win7 systems that are carrying it are reporting and functioning normally.

I just installed it on my production machine about 30 minutes ago. So far so good, but then I didn't have any problems with the faulty one. I did make a data backup just in case!

Installed KB2823324 before it was pulled, didn't have any untoward effects from it, didn't bother to uninstall it. Just received KB2840149 from WU and installed, system didn't request to reboot but I did it manually anyway. So far, so good.

What happens if you reboot? Does CHKDSK run every time?

How about scheduled disk defragmentations? Do they run as scheduled?

I run CHKDSK once a week and don't see any instances of it running on Boot.
