[Hardware] Anyone else getting thier Samsung Galaxy S4 today?

I should get mine by 4:30pm

I've also heard the boot loader is locked on AT&T. Guess we can't play with ROMs right away but upgrading from the Iphone 5, I am sure I can do enough to keep me busy with it stock.

Waiting for a smaller aluminum model. Not a phablet fan and it is only a matter of time before Samsung gets on the stick and makes my perfect phone.

Let us know how you like it.

I imagine there is probably going to be a bounty thread like there was for the S3 to unlock the bootloader. Hopefully they do it quickly

One small problem ..the S4 mini will not be a top tier phone hardware wise like the S4 and the aluminium body is rumored for the note 3.

That's fine. Better battery life. Meanwhile I can always hope for an aluminum S5 mini.

I would say, that I am very pleased with it. I am a long time Iphone user, so there has been a big learning curve, but I love this phone. Just a few things that annoy me. the menu and back buttons on the bottom, I keep hitting inadvertently because it's so close to the edge of the phone, but a decent case should solve that. I would say it's not that big an improvement if you have an SG3, but compared to my old iPhone 5, this phones is freaking awesome!

I'm happy with my Galaxy Note 2 but I'm always interested in reading about other high end devices, so I have a question.. Does anyone have a YouTube link to a review of the U.S version with the Snapdragon CPU VS the overseas version with Samsung's own Octa 5 chip? in a benchmark test or just comparing the smoothness actually using it?

Locked bootloader could be the one sole reason that may stop me from buying any new smart phone... I hope they'll find out how to do that soon.

$1300? Why not buy from Negri and spend around $850?

I was hell bent on buying the octo core but after watching that video not sure now. The difference doesn't seem that big.

About 60% sure I'm going to get one, with two assumptions:

1. unlock that works for the AT&T one works for the VZW variant
2. the radios are better than the VZW galaxy nexus

I ordered one a couple of days ago from ATT's website. I already have the Seidio Surface case for it. I think that Seidio makes the best cases:

Sorry, a bit off topic with the case.
