Wireless Security projectMy professor has assigned a project involving network security.
Guidelines You will use Dreamweaver to develop a website that is filled with solid technical information of a specific network security topic. It is expected that your site will contain a significant amount of information. Possible topics (but not limited to) include VPN technology, IPSec, hardening a server, network security perimeters, security vulnerablity audits, securing virtual machines, advanced authentication systems, etc. It is important that your site contains original content, not just links to sites that have content. Do not copy and paste content from an internet web site into your site.
I thought of covering home and enterprise wireless security.(the reason why I posted in this forum) any suggestions |

I found that the way to get the best possible work out of me is give me something that sparks my interest and drives me to do my best possible work. If that's what does it for you, go for it.

Accomplishment and appreciation also help. I just watched this gem: » www.ted.com/talks/dan_ar ··· ork.html |

I would recommend a discussion and comparison of vpn types, ipsec vs openvpn vs proprietary, etc.
I think a look at different types of wireless security would be good too, since most have been shown to be vulnerable to different attacks.
A discussion of testing tools like nmap and tcpdump could be interesting, or even a look at the "end user" variable, ie social engineering, etc. |
