BPON or GPON ONT? I posted the picture a few years back since then there has been some changes, first BVU OptiNet just installed a smart electric grid provided by Tantalus and has rolled out new GE I-210 digital meters to every home my house was selected to receive a "Ethernet WAN Transceiver." Link provided to see what was installed, and if you all would like to see a pic of it just let me know. »www.tantalus.com/pdf/products/TU···4101.pdf
Anyway I came across that On Trac, Incorporated was awarded GPON Conversion Project for BVU Authority. This extensive project involves replacing current BPON equipment with advance generation Alcatel-Lucent GPON portals, assisting BVU in growing a robust gigabit network.
My question is my ONT a GPON or BPON ONT? The model number on the ONT is O-421E-B also the ONT is a Alcatel-Lucent.
As my previous post here are some more pictures if it will help...(if not fiber eye candy goodness)

Should be bpon. "O" for outside, 421e is the model and "b" is bpon
