Hi Guys.

Today I received an email from our distributor with a product that seems cool.

The brand name is deliberant the product apc-propeller.

Have you seen this?

$44 at Streakware for the 2GHz and $53 for the 5GHz.

$118 for an AP to feed them...

Deliberant has been around for 5 years or so longer than UBNT. I have used their products in the past and I still have one or two of their old 2300 units operating in the field.

I just looked at the 5Ghz version: »www.deliberant.com/apc-propeller-5

So, you can run it as either an AP or CPE.

There is a medium gain rectangular antenna inside which makes a wide beam pattern when you mount it vertically ... which is quite good for AP mode.

But if you mount it horizontally, same wide beam pattern turns 90 degrees, and that is "sort of OK" for CPE mode. In my opinion, the CPE mode will be good for mainly short range applications.
