Marc I read everything you said carefully. So let's just cut to the point here. I can be reasonably believe it or not.
Okay in regards to the paper invoicing. Up until early this morning when I made several calls to various places, I was under the impression I had the legal right to a paper invoice and that it should be provided for free. It appears I was mistaken.
You also say because of fraud environmentalism that paperless is the way society is moving and I am in the minority, I'll accept that even though it is against everything I stand for.
So right here and right now I will apologize to you and Teksavvy regarding any and all things related to paper billing that I've been campaigning for over the years. I won't remove "no free paper bills" from the list of negatives in my review though, because in my opinion it is a negative and I am just as much as a consumer as anyone else. I think what I've said so far is fair.
Now on to this shipping issue which I will try to make it as simple as possible for anyone who bothers to read this post.
You charge $10 for shipping, many other secondary providers also charge $10 for the same products you offer. The others also use Canada Post. Their parcels come at least once to your door. These are smaller companies than yours. Why is it they are able to do this while you, one of the largest secondary providers, are not able to do this for the same price?
And finally to you suggesting that I may be hypocritical in saying I think paying more than $10 is too much, yet I want door delivery. It's simple. I sincerely don't regard "card for pickup" as a "real" delivery. I am adamantly against going to the post office to pick up my parcel, so I would grudgingly pay more to have it delivered to a location of my choosing. That's all I meant.
So to sum it up, I do think it is slightly insulting to pay the same shipping costs, for the same products, using the same delivery company yet it lacks a fundamental "feature" that I didn't even know was a "feature", (delivery to your door) while other companies provide this "feature" for free despite them being much smaller companies than your company.
Thank you. |

Marc, and everyone else at TSI, pls just ignore this troll.
It no longer matters what's being said, he's decided he's going to yap endlessly and pointlessly.
He trashed TSI in his review, he's made it clear he has hated everything about TSI for the past 1.5 yrs, and now he's leaving for Start.
Unfortunately, he's now their problem.
God forbid they send him something for free. |

said by TSI Marc:Hey guys, here is what we ship with. In your image - look under the "Service and Options" heading on the right side. See the "Card For Pickup" box? Uncheck that and Canada Post will actually try to deliver the box. Check the "Do Not safe drop" box instead - that way Canada Post will not leave the box at someone's door, but will card for pickup at the post office if nobody is home. I can't imagine that checking a different box would cost you guys any more - I've never seen a price difference for this service in my time using Electronic Shipping Tools. |

Seeing the screen shot of your Desktop 2.0 shipping system from Canadapost you have the Card for Pickup option as default for all shipments. The Do not Safe Drop is a free service option to use but will all Canadapost employee's follow it I doupt it. Signature option will cost more. I posted a screen shot of the Configuration, preferences and default option screen. |

I've read his posts in the past and felt some points were less reasonable (e.g., complaining about the stamp on the envelope instead of a postage machine ink stamp). So I have no issues with what you perceive as "trolling" above - it seems to be a reasonable point of view to me. |

Yes, I don't know how complaining about a totally non-standard shipping method can be considered "trolling". I get tons of stuff via Canada Post, and nobody ever has shipped via "Card for Pickup". Why do I have to pay $10 for shipping (which isn't particularly cheap in the first place), and then still have to drive to the post office and back, and, on top of that, if I'm lucky, have to stand in line for half an hour, to finally pick something up that could've been in my hands at the time the notification card was delivered??? |

Definitely worth bringing up this 2 month old thread back. Thanks Contrex. |

because the stuff youre getting from teksavvy is likely to be stolen. whatever else you get is unlikely to be stolen, but modems will disappear if they are dumped on your doorstep. |

If a signature is required nothing will be "dumped on your doorstep" (but that has already been explained several times in this thread). |
