it be nice, you know to actually compete . grande communications has 105mb down but closest they are is corpus. Austin is getting google fiber goodness, so close yet so far. As for the rgv, there is absolutely no incentive to raise speeds even if a few are actually willing to pay for it.

TWC is in the process of rolling out 8 channels downstream bonding and I think that North Texas is testing upstream bonding for the Texas region and I think most of the North Texas systems have 8 channel downstream bonding now

again agreed, hopefully that's good news to hear, how ever knowing perfectly well that TWC is currently behind the pack when it comes to speed, hopefully now with added competition in the market, that might change and actually speed up upgrades to the network that other competitors have already rolled out and done for several years already.
