Question about billing cycle

So I got my internet cable service on the 19th of April and got charged on the first full month. Today, I received an invoice for next month's payment. Now my question is, how did it happen that my prepaid monthly billing date fell on the 14th of every month where in fact it should be the 19th? Thanks for the help in advance.

TekSavvy always bills 5 days before you're actual billing period (is this the right term here?). What you're paying for on the 14th will cover the upcoming 19th until the next 19th.

I think it would help if it said on the invoice what period the payment is covering, like Rogers does on their invoices. (/DD - /DD)

At least this my understanding of how TSI does their prepaid invoicing.

yeah I would think after all this time TSI could add the service period on the invoice

I fully concur!

I now have an ongoing billing snafu which has to be sorted out via telephone roulette.

Not a fan of that course of action because there's nothing in writing.

Just a warning. Check and recheck your credit card statements. Take absolutely nothing for granted. And never delete your emailed invoices.

I keep all mine on a thumbdrive for just this.
