Check my Levels

Can somebody please comment on my signal levels? I'm having no problems, but I'm just curious. Yes, I am behind a splitter.

Thanks.

Your forward is a little low and will only get worse as it gets warmer through the summer. Splitters on the line between the modem and cable drop?

Spitter right before the modem that takes one output jack and splits between TV and Modem. Likely, a spillter in the main box also.

I changed the modem location recently as its better suited. Has produced no noticeable issues so far. Hoping that it is within spec enough as to stay that way. I know its not optimal.

You might drop below -10 on a hot day in the summer, but so long as you still have sync you'll probably be okay.

Are there any other splitters before the modem?

Not that I am aware of. But I have not seen what is inside the cable box on the outside of my house.

In the boxes it's usually a F barrel, see below.

Sometimes their is splitter, easiest way to check is to see if there is more than cables coming out of the bottom, one is cable in the other would be cable out.

Well, I have cable outlets in several rooms, so I am assuming they must be split in some way in the box. I have added the last splitter at one of those outlets so I can have the modem in my basement.

So I am aware that the extra splitter will affect the signal strength, but it seems to be working fine. If I have troubles, I can remove the splitter.
