Mine were far more accurate than that when I used ispy. Problem is that the program performed very poorly with 6 cameras let alone 8 or 10. The interface was horribly slow.

Also, did you have these on a dedicated wireless router (so as not to take up too much bandwidth on your "core wireless" router???

I tweaked my cameras FPS (frames per second) to manage bandwidth usage. This also takes some pressure off the recording software which compares frames for movement. I opted for less frames, higher quality.

I had no idea what a cut filter was. I googled it and learned. Thanks much!

I have some older cameras that point out a window which don't have the ir cut filter ... they work well since the IR lights reflect back to the camera off the window so I turn them off and use an external IR flood light. Daytime colors are off due to no cut filter, but quality is fine. I got the newer FOSCAMs with ir cut filter but unfortunately the ir lights and cut filter are tied in together (can't be managed independently) and won't work pointing out a window (during the night).

You can turn off the IR lights and leave the cut alone...depends on your software...as for the frame rate that was way more important than anything so I trashed ipsy and went with Blue Iris that doesn't have that problem.

That's not true with the FOSCAM FI9821W unfortunately. IR cut is hardwired to the IR lights.

I think BlueIris tweaks the framerate for you per my observations, looking at the camera status page. My manual tweaks are on the high res cameras to limit them to 5fps.

The framerate BI is amazing...very close to live video on all my cameras and it uses very little CPU resources... ispy was nightmarish to keep running over time...horrible.

Its 7:30 AM I'm drinking my coffee with honey in it. I got a flu shot the other day, it made me sick congested, running nose, sore throat, big headache. I'm never getting another flu shot ever again.

Tim you likely already had a cold or picked up a cold where you got the flu shot. Flu shots cannot give you the flu Dead virus = no infection.

Are you sure they are dead? I thought they were weakened, so that antibodies could react to them and build the immune system... and quickly win the war of good versus evil... i could google.. but i'm lazy today.. just ate my yummy lunch

I thought the "flu shots gives ya the flu" was an old wives tale? I mean, I know what the flu shot "gives" you, but I thought the actual getting sick part was a myth and as Gary said, usually just coincidental?

Edit: Just read Gary said "cannot" instead of "can", dur

Vaccine Side Effects (What to Expect)
Can the flu vaccine give me the flu?
No, a flu vaccine cannot cause flu illness. Flu vaccines that are administered with a needle are currently made in two ways: the vaccine is made either with a) flu vaccine viruses that have been 'inactivated' and are therefore not infectious, or b) with no flu vaccine viruses at all (which is the case for recombinant influenza vaccine). The nasal spray flu vaccine does contain live viruses. However, the viruses are attenuated (weakened), and therefore cannot cause flu illness. The weakened viruses are cold-adapted, which means they are designed to only cause infection at the cooler temperatures found within the nose. The viruses cannot infect the lungs or other areas where warmer temperatures exist.

The only time I got flu shots was when I was in the military and ordered to do so. I think I'll drink a half a bottle of Jack to prevent myself from getting drunk, in case I accidentally drink some Jack.

I don't get the flu shot generally anymore either. I am however an extreme hand washer and I will avoid anyone obviously infected with something lol. Want to see me do a quick jump away from you...cough just once in a line at the grocery store..

I too wash thy hands quite a bit, but I do get the flu shot. Doesn't bother me to get it, and seems to work for me.

This is up for debate.

Slow day at work, hoping for more work soon or the day drags. Weather is mild, but dreary. Going to the apple orchard this weekend, that should be fun.
