mozillazine forums

Would anyone know of a Mod or Admin at: »forums.mozillazine.org/index.php
Cannot login under old login credentials.
Old post by me to show that I exist there:
»forums.mozillazine.org/v ··· t=102247
»forums.mozillazine.org/v ··· =2485049
When I ask for a password | account recovery email - the email never arrives.
If anyone that knows of someone there that could manually send an account recovery email - it would be most appreciated.

Do not know any Admin's -- has it been awhile since you last signed in?

Mozillazine FAQ: »forums.mozillazine.org/f ··· php#f0r6
I registered in the past but cannot login any more?!
It is possible an administrator has deactivated or deleted your account for some reason. Also, many boards periodically remove users who have not posted for a long time to reduce the size of the database. If this has happened, try registering again and being more involved in discussions.

If the Mozillazine Forum does not offer any direct help without being login, quickest way may be just to register again then ask if/how you can get your old forum ID.

What you say makes sense based on how boards work.
It is possible that my account was closed due to inactivity but the below post was less than a year ago.

I will register under a different user name and ask if my old profile could be re-instated.
Will do this and post back - thanks for the suggestions.

I'm in under a new profile but since I'm a n00b there, can't view anyone's profile - thus, cannot ask to have my new profile merged with the old.

We'll see how it plays out.

I posted at the sub board you recommended.
It would seem posts require approval prior to being visible.
Best guess these would be for new accounts or it's a default behaviour for this board.
We'll see if it get's a Nod and what becomes of it.
Quite the PITA involved for a basically simple account recovery.

I've been using the ESR version 10, and now 17, so I rarely visit Mozillazine these days as I can discuss the ESR versions in the ESR listserve and I can't offer much help at Mozillazine since I don't use the latest Fx.

Anyhow, you got me worried that maybe my account has been deleted there since it has been more than six months (Oct 2012 according to my post list there) since I have visited and posted. So, I went there just now and was already logged in!! I just happen to be on my old XP Pro computer. I guess if I went there on my new Win 8 computer that I would have to login as I haven't been there yet on that computer.

Still...maybe I need to post there. I don't want my account deleted even if I don't visit much these days. I may not always use Fx ESR versions.

Get in contact with the moderator James at MozillaZine.
He should be able to hook you up.

Due to ongoing issues that I won't disclose here - I have given up on the account recovery.
