That's one reason why you should only depend on well established and researched companies for your service. While 200 Mbps does exist, make sure to get it from someone who can be trusted.

I feel for those who got swindled.

That is speedboost kicking in for a few seconds, and is not a permanent speed. Your tier is 150/10, and that's what you see after the short speedboost is done.

200/20 (200/30 was what they were saying I could get previously when they qualified me, when only 150/10 is available near me), is only available on cable via Videotron right now - Shaw has 250/15.

But, their website is all English, so they couldn't operate in Quebec due to language laws, not to mention the fact that Quebec has much more stringent consumer protection laws than the rest of the country.

Except, Canada is full of those who lacked education. If refugee or immigrant status doesn't mean anything to the general public, it's a risk to the security of all.

Those who comes to Canada will migrate to live there, get employed as a low income earner, live with minimal levels of education.
Most of the time these people doesn't know much about computers, much less the internet, or the modern electronics!

In regards to technologies, Canada is a little backwater in regards to most of the populations further rural. Education for said tech are a little on the spoiling side since there were a ton of issues within the education system not working properly, with more and more students applying and less and less graduates finding jobs.

Shaw offers 250/15 in some places, and they are expanding 250 coverage as far as I can tell (abit slowly)
