| Is Earthlink throttling newsgroups now? I'm on a 15Mb Internet system and am lucky if I can hit 15% of that rate on a Usenet download (no, I'm not confusing b and B). I've noticed this within the past 6 weeks to 2 months. |

| Are you talking about the usenet access provided by Earthlink? I don't know if they've downgraded that, but astraweb still works normally |

| Yes, it's the Earthlink provided Usenet. It was tied to Giganews, but I don't know whether it is now. |
