San Antonio, TX | Considering getting service, but have a question... Hello, i am in need of decent internet since DSL isnt cutting it for me. I am interested in EarthLink cable internet service (which is via Time Warner Cable in my area) but the question is, my brother already has service with TWC, but i would like my own connection as well as billing.
Is it possible to keep his service while I get EL cable internet under my name? |

| This is not possible. TWC will be your billing agent. You will pay them. Earthlink only handles the support and routing after your traffic leaves the CMTS. There is no way around this with Elink and TWC as that is the way it is set up and always has been. Also TWC will not permit you to install Elink in the home with RoadRunner unless you use/find a 3rd Party ISP that is able to do this over the TWC network- Which across the country there is only about 2 or 3 companies that can do this. |
