Not sure if this is the correct forum, but i have a HP 8470 that has a wwan socket, in previous laptops i have been able to put a msata drive in there and it works. For some reason it doesn't work and there are no wwan options in the bios. I have checked device manager it does snow up, and disk management that a no go either.

When i google second drive HP 8470p videos show adding it with a caddy in the optical bay... has anyone added a second drive?

Plan is to place OS On the msata ssd drive and use the sata for storage...
