WTF is going on?

Just before 9:15pm or so, something started happening with the routing or something. Websites wouldn't load and I was timing out from things I was connected to. Speeds were also terrible. I noticed a few people already are posting about their slow speeds also.

And then there's this tracert to www.google.ca:

|---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------|
| WinMTR statistics |

Why is google.ca routing to a (seemingly) TekSavvy DSL IP/customer? And that's not the first time I've seen that. This is from June 5th, sometime between 2-3am:

Tracing route to www.google.ca [206.248.151.88]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms unknown [192.168.1.1]
  2 7 ms 7 ms 7 ms 10.124.117.129
  3 10 ms 12 ms 12 ms 24.156.150.213
  4 7 ms 8 ms 7 ms comstock2.cable.teksavvy.com [24.52.255.62]
  5 9 ms 17 ms 13 ms comstock1.cable.teksavvy.com [24.52.255.57]
  6 9 ms 9 ms 10 ms 69.196.136.132
  7 9 ms 8 ms 9 ms 206-248-151-88.dsl.ncf.ca [206.248.151.88]

Trace complete.

And that day at that time I was experiencing the same thing I did tonight.

I'm seeing massive packet loss through agg01.tor.packetflow.ca (69.169.136.44 and .77 and likely others)

Possibly related?

Looks to be OK now:

However, when I originally noticed the issue, I waited about 10-15 mins and it seemed to have fixed itself, but another 10-15 mins later the issue returned.

I'll give it some time before calling it fixed this time.

Fixed here on the LAN connection.

You guys have some SERIOUS homework to do to un-fuck your phone queues! I'm STILL on hold here for over an hour now...

Not acceptable for a LAN connection! I was told this was fixed two years ago... Didn't happen... I was told over a month ago this was fixed when I waited over an hour because of a fiber cut... Didn't happen!

No it's not better and frankly i'm getting sick of this shit. I use the internet to watch baseball on mlb.tv and it seems like there's an issue ever other week now. Pause, lag, lag, lag. Or terrible quality picture breaking apart.

This isn't a "service outage" per say... Its a DDoS attack and we are fighting it right now.
