| Need help with my wifi connection? Hi. My dorm building has wifi and I can easily connect to my floor's wifi. The signal is up to 4 "bars" and I can play online games on my ipad with ease. The problem is, I can't seem to connect on facebook/safari/twitter on my iPad device. Yet I'm sure there is an internet connection because I can play my online ipad games with no difficulty, and most of the time these games require a fast internet connection. The same goes for my laptop. Connecting to the wifi is no problem but I can't load facebook/mozilla/chrome/anything online.
Does anyone know how I can solve this?  |

kudos:3 | It sounds like a DNS or Proxy problem. Have you tried contacting network support for the dorms to ask them? |

You can manually set your DNS servers
Try 8.8.8.8 |
