 | Adjustable ND filters I'm looking at getting some filters and need some Neutral Density filters for landscape photos. I've seen the adjustable ones that screw on like a normal filter, and you turn it like a polarizer to get more stops. Has anyone used one of these before? I like to travel light and having just one filter that can cover from 2 to 8 stops would be great since I would not have to stack filters. -- Don't let my reality hinder your imagination! |

 | Thanks for the info. I figured as much. I guess I will buy a kit that has several NDs and graduated NDs. -- Don't let my reality hinder your imagination! |

There are some good kits on ebay. I got one that has 3 NDs and 3 grad NDs. It comes with the square holder so you can run 3 filters at once |

I have a variable ND and it works well enough for grab and go imaging. For serious work I use the Lee 4x6 filter system, and also have their big stopper.
I don't have much of a problem with ebay sets as they do what they are intended for. However, I am a true believer in you get what you pay for. Therefore, primo glass demands primo filters mounted in front.

Singh-Ray filters are one of the best available, but they're not cheap. »www.singh-ray.com/varind.html |

If I buy any more specialized filters, it would probably be theirs though. I also like B&W filters from Germany too. -- There are more things in heaven and earth, than are dreamt of in your philosophy. ~ W.S.
