[Serious] former supervisor undergoing chemoI just found out that my former supervisor, who taught me oh so much about what to do in my line of work, is undergoing chemo and the prognosis is not good. I also just found out that the mother of a good friend is seriously ill. Prayers / mojo / positive thoughts would be appreciated.
on edit: when it rains, it pours. A friend's wife who had a stroke a few months back will be undergoing surgery within the next week to remove a large growth ... |

Just a bit of an update on my friend's mother. At first the doctors thought she wouldn't make it through the week. Today she's back home. It's cancer, and she's started chemo and there's a reasonably good chance of a full recovery. |
